Marcellis Stinnette, 19, of Waukegan, (left) and Dante Salinas, 39, of Gurnee, (right) A judge ordered a former Waukegan police officer held on a $350,000 bond for shooting and killing 19-year-old Marcellis Stinnette. He pleaded not guilty to the charges. Dante Salinas, 39, of Gurnee, was charged by a grand jury with three counts of second-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and two counts of official misconduct. The three counts of second-degree murder and one count of involuntary manslaughter stem from the Stinnette shooting.
